Who we are
The co-founders met in 2000 at a fitness technology company. One led the Operations team and the other designed the product. Their strong professional and mentorship relationship endured after leaving the company.
In 2022, they saw a gap in strength training innovation since their time at the fitness technology company. Fitness clubs' shift to self-serve models often leaves members without personalized guidance, disadvantaging those majority that values strength training but lacks fitness knowledge. Recognizing that modern smartphones and affordable sensors can now replicate AI personal trainer capabilities at a lower cost and there is a willingness to pay, they decided to address this issue and aim to enhance the member experience.
With the combined of 10 years of experience in designing and retrofitting sensors on strength machines, the co-founders understand what gym owners want and the obstacles and maintenance pitfalls to avoid. This unique insight is also why Fit-X is brand agnostic, appealing to gym owners who are loyal to their own brands, ensuring the solution integrates seamlessly with their existing equipment.
